2025 LAB
REPORT

A brief wrapped and strategic roadmap for 2026.

REF: 2026_STRATEGY

Executive Summary: The 2026 Pivot

2025 was a year of rapid acceleration and critical recalibration. Our ambitious launch of the CU60 motor and Nitrate controller pushed the boundaries of what our current infrastructure and manpower could support. Recognizing this, we made the deliberate decision to halt distribution and issue full refunds.

Moving Forward: We are entering 2026 with a renewed focus on Long-Term Operational Stability. Rather than chasing volume, we are focusing on ensuring every device we release meets our uncompromising standards for reliability, sustainability, and availability.

Development continues on our next-generation sensors with a more measured, precise R&D cycle.

Mitigation Status

Working with various shipping partners we have been able to offset most of our "Economy" and "Ground" service carbon footprints. Further work is needed to fully offset the priority Air services.

Open Source Initiative

Democratizing high-performance robotics through radical transparency.

The Vendordep Layer

In 2025, we transitioned our proprietary vendordep layer to a fully open-source model. By exposing the low-level communication protocols between our controllers and the host system, we've enabled a new tier of custom implementation for educational and competitive teams.

Future-Proofing Talent

Our commitment to open sourcing is a permanent fixture of our roadmap. We are currently auditing our legacy hardware designs and firmware stacks for public release, aimed at providing high-fidelity reference materials for student engineers. Moving forward, every major software abstraction and architectural layer we develop is slated for eventual public release.

Roadmap Status
Partially Open Source

To our customers: thank you for standing by us through the challenges of 2025. Your trust is our most valuable asset. We are moving into 2026 with a commitment to not just making better products, but building a more sustainable and transparent future for the entire community.
